  • VW Brings Electric GTI for $25k USD ⚡️

  • Fisker Reportedly Hired Bankruptcy Consultants 📉

NISSAN AND HONDA JOIN FORCES 🤝

Nissan and Honda, feeling the heat from Tesla and BYD, decide to join forces and tackle the EV game together.

Nissan and Honda have shook hands on a deal to turbocharge their EV game. Sources spilled the beans to Nikkei, hinting at a top-secret plan for joint battery and EV development.

And they're not stopping at batteries.

The two amigos are diving into the deep end of software development, exploring new tech like it's a treasure hunt.

Nissan's CEO, Makoto Uchida, is hyped about the partnership, calling it "important" and "significant" because, well, they've got some "common challenges" to tackle.

Meanwhile, Honda's CEO, Toshihiro Mibe, is ready to blend their tech wizardry and know-how to create magic.

Feeling the squeeze from China's EV dominance, Nissan and Honda are gunning to drop prices faster than a magician pulls rabbits out of hats. But can they compete with BYD?

BYD's on a warpath. Slashing EV prices left, right, and center.

Japanese automakers are feeling the heat, with rumors swirling about production cuts and market share losses in China.

Nissan's gearing up to launch its next-gen EVs, including successors to the LEAF, Ariya, and even electric versions of the Juke and Qashqai (or Rogue Sport for our American pals).

Oh, and word on the street is that Nissan might be cozying up to Fisker to give them a hand… more on that later.

VW TARGETS ELECTRIC GTI FOR $25K USD ⚡️

Volkswagen's revving up to bring the electric hot hatch craze to the US. And get this: they're aiming for a price tag between $20,000 and $25,000!

After Rivian's CEO dropped the bombshell with their R3 electric crossover, Volkswagen's like, "Hold my beer."

Their ID. GTI is smaller and cheaper than the Rivian R2, starting at a whopping $45,000.

Volkswagen Group America CEO Pablo Di Si's got big dreams. He's eyeing the US market for their hot hatch EV, but there's a catch—it's gotta hit that sweet spot between $20k and $25k. Otherwise, it's just another fancy niche product.

With the ID.4 kicking butt as the fifth best-selling EV in the US last year, the ID. GTI could be the secret weapon to boost sales even more.

Sure, it's just a dream for now. And Di Si admits they don't have a solid plan yet, but hey, it's on their radar…

If all goes well, we could be cruising in electric GTI goodness by 2027.

FISKER REPORTINGLY HIRED BANKRUPTCY CONSULTANTS 📉

Rumor has it, Fisker's brought in some "restructuring advisers" to help navigate stormy waters.

Translation: they're eyeing bankruptcy like it's a backup plan.

Things haven't been rosy lately.

Stock prices are in the gutter, and there's talk of delisting. Yikes. But hey, it's not all doom and gloom.

Fisker saw a whopping 300% jump in deliveries last quarter. Silver lining?

And guess who might come to the rescue?

Nissan's reportedly flirting with a partnership on electric trucks. Fisker's got its own pickup, the "Alaska," in the pipeline. Coincidence? We think not.

Money-wise, Fisker's making bank on the Ocean SUV.

But running a company ain't cheap, especially with a pesky direct-sales model.

Fisker's consulting with the bigwigs about bankruptcy. Stock prices plummet faster than a lead balloon, but Fisker's quick to clap back with a statement: "No comment on rumors." Smooth move, Fisker.

And just like that, FSR stock bounces back in after-hours trading.

Why? 'Cause Fisker's dropping hints about a "strategic partnership with a large automaker." (Nissan? đź‘€)
